Dress Code

Dancers must abide by the Studio 18 dress code. If a student arrives for class not wearing the appropriate attire they will not be able to participate in the class for that day. Our dress code is in place for safety, professionalism, and for the optimal training of the dancer. Hair must be pulled back neatly away from the face. Ballet classes must have their hair secured in a bun. No jewelry is permitted. 

Ballet:

Females: Black leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes. Hair should be pulled into a neat bun. No exceptions.

Males: Black dance pants, white shirt, black shoe. 

Creative Movement, Pre-Ballet, Ballet/Tap:

Pink leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes, black tap shoes. 

Jazz, Contemporary, Lyrical:

Hot shorts, jazz pants, leggings. Tight fitting tanks, half tops. No T-shirts or sweatpants. 

Black Jazz shoes required for Jazz classes.

Hip Hop:

All students must have clean soled gym shoes that will be used for class. In the event of rain or snow, please change your shoes upon arrival as to not track in dirt. Any comfortable clothing is acceptable for class with the exception of jeans or shorts. Hair must be put up away from face.
